With the turnover from year to year, I think you're REALLY jumping the gun worrying about 2009 division alignment, don't you?

Huntington and Canton are only the tip of the iceburg. There are also Western and Southern teams that may not be around next season.

So the league basically kicked them out because they tried to resign?
....You're fired!
You can't fire me, I quit!
Yeah, well you can't quit because you're fired!

And from what I hear, the players have all basically said "na'ah, we're not going to do this."

First, I can't believe I was away from the internet when all this happened (Damn Maine's poor cell reception for aircards?!)
Anyways, thanks to exit for keeping me informed.
Now that it appears the Rochester players may not be interested in continuing this farce, let's just go out on a limb and assume that the three games and title game are scheduled. It's the day of the Erie-Rochester Charity-Might-Count-or-Might-Not-Count Game.... and four hours to gametime, Erie fails to show up.
In that hypothetical situation, what league would Rochester jump to then?

Players and Fans got screwed. If I were a player, I wouldn't want to play for an organization that just screwed any chance of me and my teammates of winning a championship...
