I tried to order $5 seats today on ticketmaster but got a "not available" message so I called over to the Tullio box office. The woman I talked to said those tickets aren't released until the day of the game at 10am. She said it's always like that. That sucks for someone like me that's an out of towner trying to get those seats. wow, that's lame.... I wonder if that'll ruin my plans for next year....

Do you want to buy season tickets in the $5 section, because you can do that (according to eriefreeze.com) but there isn't a discount.

So spending $70 for two is a drop in the bucket.

5/12 Pittsburgh - 1,500
A very small crowd for this game. Good weather + bad team = low attendance.

Regarding the $5 seats. I called the box office Saturday morning at about 10:15am and ordered tickets. There was a $2 service charge per ticket. So I was still able to get them without showing up at the box office.
You could have done the same thing through ticketmasters web site, but it would have cost you like $3.25 more.

We didn't get our tix until after the doors had already opened and there were still $5 seats available -- we still went for the $15 tix and ended up in our usual section (section 8, how appropriate?). We were on the aisle row KK. Easy to get good seats these days.

Not surprised at all by the low numbers, they had trouble with attendance during nice weather when the team was good.
Which in Erie you have to enjoy the weather when you can.

I have a feeling that the last home game is going to have an even lower number.

5/26 Mississippi - 1,000
What do you expect?
So they finished the year with an average of 2,343. 500 less per game than last year. However, the Times-News recently reported that there were only 1,500 per game.
