Mitch submitted a script to give us updared scores. You will find a link for this in the AIFA Weekly Kickoff forum. Please take the time out now to visit this and click on it to see if it work for you. Here is the link: aiflfans.proboards76.com/index.cgi?board=kickoffThe actual link to open up the live scoring is under the scrolling marquee where we have the weekly results. If this works for everyone what you will have to do on game days is to open up 2 windows. 1 for live chat and the other for this live scoring. Feedback is encouraged... |

You guys will have to let us know how it works, since 2/3's of the board will be at the Legends/Freeze game, LOL.

The scores have to be added manually via another control panel. Mitch has also just notified me that it didnt work in his forefox. I have IE and it works good for me. |

looks like Ill be calling you with updates Gene. lol We were thinking about hooking up a laptop at the CC and live updating from the game in the chat room. Don't know if that is possible or not, but it is an idea we are exploring. |

I'll be here all weekend so i can handle adding the updates. Joe, did Mitch give you the url to add the scores? For obvious reasons, only certain people should have it so theres no abuse to it.

Joe, you won't need it for Canton. I'm going to update via my cell phone. Yes, that's correct my cell phone. I'll PM you the info Joe Gene, I also snazzed (Is that even a word?) up the scoring flash movie. Looks like it belongs in the AIFA.   ----------------------------------------------------- USERS!!! PLEASE READ!!!I guess you could call this a bug, but when you first open the scores page, it will give a status of ONLINE. BUT if none of the games are being updated, if will goto OFFLINE (either because all the game are final or no one can update the game) after the first 30 seconds goes by. If that happen, just refresh the page around game time. Thanks and please give feedback. It's the only way this thing will succeed. |

Currently, I just have week 2 in the database. So next week i'll get caught up with putting in the season schedule. It's not automatic. The control for that scoreboard to be honest are mediocre at best. Though they will get better as time marches on. |

Fantastic work on the scoring updates guys. The scoreboard page worked great for me.  I wish the league was as concerned about getting this info out as its fans are (since they haven't even posted the Legends/Freeze score, let alone tonight's game). Just for reference of how a real league works, the Erie Otters lost badly again tonight (no surprise there) but there's already a story about it on their webpage and at 10:05 (pretty much right after the game!) they sent me a text message alert about it -- and reminded me that they are going to be getting trounced at home again tomorrow when they play the London Knights. Oh yeah, and they had the game on the radio, streaming audio, and live television for free. |
