So if i am to understand this correctly you are chastizing us for being accurate in whats going on? I dont quite understand your argument here? I say posts will get deleted, they do, and now you are calling me out?
On the subject of class you'll have to speak with JM on that one. He called the Express offices to complain about my view on the CIFL having a better audio webcast setup then our league. Last i checked our league didnt have one? He also accused me of not supporting the league. Yea ok. He obviously wasnt there when i was running snacks up to the bus at 5am Sunday morn before the Express played Erie a few weeks ago, nor was he there when i was running a hoagie drive to raise more money for my teams fan club. Not too mention the promotion on this and other message boards as well as links to the league on all our sites. He sure didnt have our backs when i was getting trashed over at OSC. We were told to remove negative stuff about OSC here but the stuff they said about us was allowed to stay. I could go on but i think i got my point acrossed enough here.
Bottomline, i was there off and on during year 1 of this league and heard the complaining and you know what, 4 years later its still the same complaints. We the fans, the customers and supporters of this league, want nothing more than for our teams to survive and the overall survival of our teams depends on the survival of the league. If giving another league props for having a good setup is bad mouthing this league then i guess theres nothing i or we can do.
My advice to you: If your gonna mod the official league board you better have a thicker skin then what you have displayed so far. Which brings me to my next question..... Is this board going to re-establish its relationship wth OSC? The Mods here broke things off with them because they were "bashing" the AIFA over there, now many of those same things are being said on this board. And I have to disagree with a statement you made in the above post....Imagine that  I don't believe that the survival of these teams depends on the survival of this league, or any other league for that matter. Teams have proven before that they'll find some place to play. For example, there are three teams, if you don't count Augusta, that were in a different league just last year. Even if the AIFA tanks (and by no means am I wishing that on them) these teams will all land somewhere, even if they have to start a new league.
As far as the rest i have no interest in getting into a debate about team/league survival. I believe most people here understand the point i was trying to make earlier..... |

Well the first question was directed at the board in general, not really you in particular. I apoligize, I should have been more specific about that.
As for the second part, relax dude..... I understood the point you were trying to make, I just offered a different opinion. It's nothing personal, and I wasn't trying to goad you into a fight, just a little friendly debate.
At this point, I do believe you're one of the good guys.

On a side note the AIFA has removed our link from the fanzone of their site. I guess the truth hurts. I'd imagine next we'll be receiving letters in the mail from their lawyers telling us not to talk about the league........ |
