On the subject of class you'll have to speak with JM on that one. He called the Express offices to complain about my view on the CIFL having a better audio webcast setup then our league. Last i checked our league didnt have one? He also accused me of not supporting the league. Yea ok. He obviously wasnt there when i was running snacks up to the bus at 5am Sunday morn before the Express played Erie a few weeks ago, nor was he there when i was running a hoagie drive to raise more money for my teams fan club. Not too mention the promotion on this and other message boards as well as links to the league on all our sites. He sure didnt have our backs when i was getting trashed over at OSC. We were told to remove negative stuff about OSC here but the stuff they said about us was allowed to stay. I could go on but i think i got my point acrossed enough here.
Bottomline, i was there off and on during year 1 of this league and heard the complaining and you know what, 4 years later its still the same complaints. We the fans, the customers and supporters of this league, want nothing more than for our teams to survive and the overall survival of our teams depends on the survival of the league. If giving another league props for having a good setup is bad mouthing this league then i guess theres nothing i or we can do.
My advice to you: If your gonna mod the official league board you better have a thicker skin then what you have displayed so far. |

Malepig has already tried stinking up the place. He is a waste of space, and the guy does occupy a lot of space. I also find it confusing that supposed adults will register just to cause trouble. But if that sort of thing stokes ones ego, who am I to speak out against it. |

The big problem about all this is the league doesn't believe in real fans, they believe in blind fans that will throw money their way unquestionably. As with some team ownership as well. It's a shame but true.

PREPARE TO GET BANNED! lol I hate to see the fans and league divided by this, but we are so passionate about our respective teams, that seeing the injustices that continually occur has worn out patience thin. No offense to Joe or Gene, but I figured it would be a very cold day in hell before you guys went against the league. Although it's quite refreshing. Anyhow, I will probably not join the new board for the simple fact that 90% of my comments have some sort of sarcastic undertone to it. And would probably get banned. It's too bad that it has to be this way, but M&M overstepped their bounds IMO. Are they flipping the bill for this board? Are they paying for the webcast? Are they paying for the live scoring? Absolutely not. We have been taken advantage of but we never thought of it like that. We want to see the league succeed so we have all volunteered at one point or another to push the league in the right direction. However, the league is in a constant loop of failure by doing the things (i.e. Simply Me), Failing at it, and then losing even more creditbility as a legitimate league. Now if I were to post this on the new board, it would probably be up about 5 minutes and i'd get a warning. |

The call to the Express office is what set me off. I found out about it last week and confirmed it this past week. Its a sad day when you cant pat another league on the back for doing the obvious. I think i need to go on a hike or something. I am still fuming and i dont see any end in sight.

Is this board going to re-establish its relationship wth OSC? The Mods here broke things off with them because they were "bashing" the AIFA over there, now many of those same things are being said on this board. And I have to disagree with a statement you made in the above post....Imagine that  I don't believe that the survival of these teams depends on the survival of this league, or any other league for that matter. Teams have proven before that they'll find some place to play. For example, there are three teams, if you don't count Augusta, that were in a different league just last year. Even if the AIFA tanks (and by no means am I wishing that on them) these teams will all land somewhere, even if they have to start a new league. |
