Obviously, I wasn't there and AIFA TV did not work (no surprise there) so I didn't see the controversial call. I know that Jason, the webcast guy, said about 20 times that he dropped it and it was still ruled a touchdown. Had I been there, maybe I'd have jumped the boards and flipped off the ref. Probably not though. That is water under the bridge. Congrats on the win, we look forward to making the trip again to the Sovereign Center for the Northern Conference Championship Game. One more thing, that was a hell of a game and what the game in Canton should have looked like. See ya in June.

It was a hell of the game, thats for sure, but it was a drop pass, but that probably didn't cause us to lose because Reading would of tried a FG after that and With Your guys kicker he would of probably nailed it anyway. You just hate to see a game that was played so hard by both team come down to a play like that. Concrats on the win; I hope your reciever #1 is hurt to serious I know a couple of our guys got pretty banged up to.
Hey Bernie that for every thing

All I have to say is that, that was easily the best game of the season and that for all you doubters the Canton Legends are BACK and ready for all on comers. Don't know what happened for about 2 games but congrats to the Legends for an awesome game. I have to say thanks from all the fans that did get to see this game and for all of you who didn't to bad for you guys you don't know what you missed. See you guys from Canton in June for another great game.

On the subject of this so called "controversial" game winning catch by Melo i also have to point out that Legends player Deforest Hart took off his helmet and slammed it on the ground after the td call was made. Just curious as to why he wasnt ejected? One of our players did that last week in J-Town and the refs didnt waste any time ejecting him. As far as "the play" itself, i was down on that end of the field and from what i saw it was a good catch. I saw this in another thread on another board but it applies here: Would you Canton fans like some cheese with that whine?

If it was a good catch why wouldn't they show the replay of it on the board like they did every other play, Yes I would like some cheese please send it to the refs maybe they can feed it so there seeing eye dog. Enjoy the win like I said earlier you guys probably would of made a FG any way. But I think a Reading fan would of had that than the ref deciding the game

No way in heck could you see if the pass was caught or dropped. Unless of course you had your xray vision glasses on and saw thru Carmelos mid section? As far as the replay, cant answer it. I am i the seating area, not the video booth........ Outside of the so called controversy, it was a classic game. As many times as Reading pulled away Canton came back. I'd like to have this game on dvd, it was a keeper.......

Its all good gene I know I could see it I was going by what I was told by people who could and those were Reading Fans, but it doesn't matter just have some fun and wishing it was a clean victory for either team.
But doesn't seem like the refs in this league want nothing to do with overtime

I say protest the game, not to change the out come, but teams need to put more pressure on the league over these refs making to many bad calls. One bad called is bad enough but they had 2 in this game Game ending TD and the Fumble of the Express and their doing it every week.
I agree that was the best game this season in the league

I agree that was the best game this season in the league There were other bad calls too. The infamous Ian Cooper fumble when he didnt even have full control of the ball after catching it and only took a step before it hit the ground. Canton then recovered and a few plays later scored a td.

Besides, you should hear me whine when my Philadelphia Eagles get robbed of a call. ;D

The cooper fumble happen right in front of our bench and man that was a close call and is it interesting they showed it on the board and tryed to get the refs to look at it. You would think as many time as your players ran over the the refs you would think your team wouldn't get any calls ;D ;D ;D

Well you have to remember that it was in Reading and ofcourse they are going to replay a call that went against us. If it was in Canton it would have been the exact opposite they wouldn't have showed the funble but they would have showed the last td about 100 times. Just can't wait for the rematch at the championship game. Gl the rest of the season Canton and see you again. and I have to put this up there for the fight they gave You're right. We wouldn't have shown it because we don't have a video board. LOL I refuse to play the part of Turf Burn and the River Rat's fans and blame the officials for a loss. Won't do it. Congrats on the win.
