I see what you mean, and you are probably right. He probably is the best coach on the team considering what the other two did, but the problem is the team has not been as good under him and they are making small mistakes. I don’t know if he calls the plays on offense but when close to the goal line every time the play was predictable and was stuffed. He probably is the best coach but the play calling and the players performance under him is not as good as before. Maybe its just the other teams have gotten better or the freeze have gotten worse.
And I think the legends are jokes for doing this, I hope they get crushed when they come to town. GO FREEZE

wow this is a joke.... i agree though i am DEFIANTLY not impressed with coach Arnold's way of handling the game..... he has done a way worse job with the same people then crafts and esposito did. really a shocker. and really think about it traveling to the game in cars and not staying overnight in hotels, come on thats a joke way of handling it. especially to Carolina and Danville i agree with him i would not like to do that either. I don't believe Arnold is the guy making these decisions. I believe this involves the GM more than the head coach. Unless Arnold is the GM. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Canton released me last week! They have been refusing to give me my last paycheck until I turn in their equipment (see you friday). I was released last week! Other than that I am baffled........If you ask me it is I get sick cant make the game, coach says dont worry about it, they loose, it is my fault, coach says i am not a team player, coach says you are getting replaced. . I am sick of all this BS. I just want to play football with a team, and Erie is that team.

Just for the record ... I have received no official communication from the Legends regarding this "trade".
Not that they tell me much of anything ...

Well, looking at this from a different point of view, maybe Hodas wanted the loss of a star player in Benjamin to be justified by making it look like we picked up Cipra in return. It sounds like Bemjamin was going to leave anyway. This is obviously the fault of the Freeze front office. With the penny pinching way of doing things, three things happen: 1. Players don't play at their best on the road because of long bus rides. 2. Record suffers. 3. Players get mad and leave because of slipshod way of doing things and poor record, which in turn hurts performance even more.
I don't think Arnold is at fault here. Hodas needs to realize that if he doesn't start spending on things like overnight stays on road trips, the team is going to play badly and morale goes down. I think the home attendance will go down as a result, which should help Hodas realize that he needs to spend money on the little things.
I also don't think Canton is at fault, either. They have not mentioned this "trade" one way or another. Hodas could have easily complained about the "trade" in the newspaper story, but he seemed perfectly fine with it. Benjamin obviously wanted out with the quotes. Therefore, I propose that the trade was an idea cooked up by the Freeze to make the loss of a defensive leader not look as bad.
I'm done, I'm jumping off the soapbox. Maybe I'm way off base. Maybe I'm going crazy because it's 4 a.m. as I type this. Either way, that's one way you could describe what just happened- just trying to throw some ideas out there.

1stdownfreeze the true is probably somewhere in between I could see the freeze putting a spin on losing a star player, but I know canton needed a linebacker after Rashan Hall's knee injury (I wonder how bad it is ?) So I could see both team scratching each others back as it where. I've listen to all the shenanagans calls on the legends but remember erie could of said no and didn't. Of couse as fans we would love to know the whole story but never will

What could be worse than going 1-6?
Losing Benjamin could.
Wow, that really, really sucks.
I paid to see Dinkins and Benjamin last year. This year I paid to Benjamin play. I guess I don't have anything left to pay for.
I already sent Roosevelt a message thanking him for his time playing for Erie and wishing him the best of luck in Canton (even though it pained me greatly to say anything remotely good about Canton). Now, how do I send a message to the Freeze org and let them know they just lost a fan?

No, I'm not 10, so I don't have a blind affiliation for a team that I don't agree with the way things are run. You may not mind, but I do.
Roosevelt Benjamin was my favorite player. I think he was a great leader and voice of the team. If he doesn't agree with the way things are being run, I highly respect his opinion.
So you have no problem blindly following a team that isn't doing what's necessary to win? If winning isn't important to you, how about at least doing enough to keep players happy?
If I go to a restaurant and the food or service sucks, I won't go back. I'm buying a product in the Freeze. Why should I have to keep my mouth shut and be happy when that product sucks?
Your loyalty is bordering on stupidity.

Your loyalty is bordering on stpudity. 1. I do not agree with how things are going. I don't like how long distince games are handled and should be change. 2. EVERY team has a losing year. Next year Canton and Reading could be 1-6 and the Freeze 6-1 Teams will have problems and thats when you see the true fans stick around and make recommandations to try and improve things. Fans who are not true (like you're self) will run away has soon has things go down hill. On the matter of liking a player, I loved Bernie on the Browns but I did not ditch the Browns for the Cowboys, I did chear for them in the Super Bowl so Bernie can get his ring and thats it. And I was 12 or 13 when that happened so apparently I was more mature and more of fan back then then you are now. Go chear for Canton but don't expect a warm welcome back when Canton loses and Freeze start getting more wins. And if things were very bad, I don't think Cip would of came back since almost any team will want him.

And if things were very bad, I don't think Cip would of came back since almost any team will want him. I know teams have losing years, but I feel that the Freeze are losing not because of the effort of the players, but because of manangement. They're not losing because of injuries. They're not losing because of bad luck. They're losing because of the poor travel conditions, the lack of practice, etc. When management is dragging the team down, that's where I draw the line. I'm really glad that Roosevelt had the balls to say the things he said about management and to call manangement out. Bernie Kosar was at the end of his career. It wasn't because of differences with manangement. Your comparison doesn't make much sense. With the way the Freeze are being managed, there won't be anything to come back to.
