This Week In The AIFA Covers New Mexico Expansion and RiverRats Transfer
BALTIMORE, Maryland (January 17, 2008) - The American Indoor Football Association has released the sixth edition of its new Internet radio program, This Week In The AIFA. This edition of the program focuses on three significant league developments. First, the program explores the AIFA's expansion to New Mexico, as well as the transfer of the RiverRats franchise from Pittsburgh to Erie, Pennsylvania. Listeners will also hear about a new agreement between the league and arena developer Global Entertainment of Phoenix, Arizona. Finally, the program will preview the upcoming AIFA owners' meetings, scheduled for Tupelo, Mississippi this coming weekend.
Interview guests include AIFA co-founders John Morris and Michael Mink, as well as Mississippi Mudcats Business Manager Connie Snell. Additional voices heard on the program include Steve Mascarenas of the New Mexico ownership group and RiverRats' owner Jeff Hauser.
This Week In The AIFA is a downloadable Internet radio program, sometimes referred to as a "Podcast." The program is produced by Bill Hazen Productions, in conjunction with the AIFA and OurSports Central Radio.
