Ok so its been close to a week since the Mariners Express game and its still not on Simply me or ION. WTF gives. I know i am b*tching about the obvious slight of hand by SimplyMe here but sheez. What a joke...

So much for the little birdie saying that the game would be on the site today? By the way, who is supposed to be filmed this week or are we done with all of that?

who's in possession of the batphone? why doesn't someone just call mink or morris and find out whats up? or do they not return FAB phone calls anymore?

I am listening to This Week in the AIFA and they just mentioned that the games will be broadcast of SimplyMe's site and also ION TV. The problem that I have with this is that today is Friday and SimplyMe still has not posted the game and they still not have given much information on the TV package.

Sure this is not turning out as planned. Mink and Morris are working on correcting the issue. They are not pleased at all and have been engaged in heated discussions with S.M.T.V. What becomes of these discussions is not yet known. I have to agree with the league on this approach though. You do not, no matte rhow big or small a company is, take the problems/battles to the message boards or general public. If something get worked out, you will be informed. If SimplyMe and AIFA part ways, you will be informed (Not saying that is happening, just an example). Let the office do what it is they have to do. We have waited this long to hear something, no harm in waiting longer. |

This has been discussed in another thread. Why it collapsed, according to ION was simply because of a contractual obligation. This could mean they have a "Do Not Compete" agreement with a different football league or a different sports franchise all together. It is not determined as contract terms are not typically discussed publicly. They (ION) have indeed admitted that there was a deal that was to be put in place, but for reasons unknown, it did not come to fruition. This does not appear to be the fault of anyone within SimplyME or the AIFA. It is very unfortunate though. |

I understand that because I spoke with ION directly myself. I also understand that the league is working behind the scenes on correcting this situation. It's just a bit frustrating as a fan to be told one thing and have the exact opposite happen.
It's like I told Gene, I don't plan on posting any more information on the subject until I hear word from one of the two entities concerning this.
At least I'll be able to watch the Express live during home games and get to listen to a live audio feed during all away games. I thank the organization itself for that.

At least a message from the league stating " We know fans are disappointed that the game of the week hasn't been televised. We are working to correct that."
How hard is it to come out and say something like that?

It always best to keep the fans in the dark cause we all know how understanding the fans can be. It not important for the M&M to come and tell us what the battles are but it is important for them to tell us that yes there is a problem and the problem is being worked on and we hope to have something workout by such and such day and then keep us update at thing come up.

I do not necessarily agree with how they run their business all the time. But it is their business to run. If they come out and tell everyone there is a problem, that is not going to make things better and you know it. It will just draw problem-children to this site like moths to a flame.
I am not trying to be argumentative. I am just pointing out a plain fact that has been proven time and again.

This weeks game is/was supposed to be Erie at Canton. Thanks Dave for letting us know that M&M are on the case. That's all I need to know for now. Just that they know that there's a problem and they are working to come to a resolution is enough for me. Once it's fixed, they can then tell us what they want about what happened and why. |

Dave, I'm sorry if this sounds nosy, but how do you know that the league is engaged in discussions with SimplyMe? Did you talk to Morris or Mink or perhaps receive an e-mail from one of the two?
