I posted some questions about a fan bus trip to an away game about a month ago. It appeared in the Canton Legends forum. Some of you were gracious enough to respond with some helpful tips. As well, some mentioned that they had no previous success putting together a full fledged chartered bus trip to an AIFA away game, and had no knowledge of any fanbase pulling off such a trip.
My question is: Has any fanbase put together such a trip before within the AIFA?
Well folks, The Baltimore Mariner fanbase have successfully put together such a trip! This message is not meant to rub anyone's noses in it, or to shout from the roof tops that Mariner fans are the best. I wanted to post this to invigorate all the other fanbases!
I think this is a stepping stone, from a fan perspective, to make certain that this league is here to stay. That the AIFA brand of football can be just as exciting for fans as the AFL, or NFL for that matter. In some cases more so for fans. That is a discussion for another thread tho.
We have a group of 43 fans and Lady Mariners Dance Team members that will be traveling to the Baltimore @ Reading season opener!
If anyone is interested in finding out more info about how I was able to coordinate such a trip, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'd be more than happy to help!
Good luck to all your favorite teams this year.

Good luck to all your favorite teams this year. It really all depends on the following. For instance, your Mariners message board is easily the busiest of all the other individual teams boards put together. That success translates well for you to coordinate bus trips. Bottomline, the interest is there.
When i tried to coordinate bus trips for EXPRESSFANS last season no one was interested in going, unless of course, it was to the Championship game. Even then, no one really committed till after the Express won the Conference Championship and by then i had no time to put it together as it was only a week before the game. You guys have a better following. I wont diss any fellow Expressfans, as we do have a select few who do travel, or fans of other teams, but you guys seem to have a way better following than the rest of us.
That said, great job in putting it together and be proud that you have those type of dedicated fans. I wish i could say and feel the same.....
