Anyone know of any teams doing trading cards for the 2008 season? Any heads up would be appreciated. Thanks This has been an ongoing thing with trading cards. I made templates for trading cards back in 2006. There's some cards in circulation They have to be worth MILLIONS! They were printed on card stock, but are not as sturdy as normal trading cards you would get from topps or upper deck.

You have to look at this from every angle possible. First, the fans would love them. Picman hooked me up with a sample run a couple years ago. It is definately a fan favorite. Now, on the other hand. Selling them becomes a little bit of an issue. (I don't believe this was in Canton) Some players would want those cards for free. Some would expect some sort of compensation from the sale. This couldn't happen with the league's max payroll system. Maybe someday there can be a true solution. I love the cards, and will continue to buy them from Picman. Hell, I was in the background on one of the cards.

Most, if not all team issued sets are paid with sponsorship. I also have some of PICMANS samples of Legends and Freeze a few years back. Nicely designed but next step would be to make them available to fans through promotions or the team stores. Last year the AIFA was the only league to not have a team do cards, even the APFL stepped up. This league has some quality teams and collectors would love to have more cards from this league.

imagine how much a card would build value when a player goes to the NFL and makes an impact! seriously though. I think it would be great, if they did it. I would make it a goal to get every single player in the league!

The exposure is huge....what our publication has done is bring the hobby of indoor/arena football trading cards to other major publications attention.

Stop wasting money on the crappy programs and put the sponsor names on the back of the cards.

we do trading cards for both our players and dance teams...i know the girls have already taken their pics and they will soon be produced..my local guys have gotten pics taken, but of course i have to wait until after cuts to make sure a card is made for a player who is on the team...we have also done another calender this year featuring the dancers, players, coaches and owners. we have made more of a family fun calender this year, instead of the swimsuit issue....the girls have also done pin-up posters to replace the swimsuit issue...all these items should be completed soon and available to the public
