The report named over 78 players in it. The whole situation is a black eye to the sport, but I think the report only hurts it more by NOT recommending any punishment to any of the players.
Myself being around the sport for more than 30 years have seen many talented players not make it because of "juiced up" players taking their spots on teams. But now what do you do. It's been going on for so long how do you explain to your kids who looked up to these people that what they done was wrong or even pull for them again much less want to see them elected into the HOF.
So do we put a wing on the HOF with an * on it or not let them in at all. Do we pull for our favorite team with a named player on it. Do we throw away the jersey you bought you kid with their favorite players name and number on it. Or do we turn away from the sport all together.
I personally think a 50 game suspension is not enough. I mean how long does it take a drug user to "kick" the habit. I think 2 seasons on the first offense and lifetime on the second. I think the trainers and owners should be punished also in some way, shape or form. It's time for the powers that be step up and take control of what they are in control of and save the sport(s) that they run.
Needless to say the sport and all sports have taken one on the chin today as well as the fans have!!!

lol, i know, but i dont feel like looking for it. Yeah, cheating has been a part of baseball since its inception, its just harder to get away wth now IMO. Whoever said cheaters never prosper lied, because for a season (as in a period of life) they do.

Baseball isn't that fun for me to watch anymore after all of this. I used to love it. But now I only watch it if my Yankees are in the playoffs. I just got sick of it. :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats:

LOL! Well I'm a Yankee fan because my dad is a Yankee fan. And he is a Yankee fan because he liked Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and those guys. Sometimes I wish that I could of watched guys like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Joe Dimaggio play. And the irony of it is that my favorite university is the Ole Miss Rebels. Then Eli Manning got drafted to the Giants and everyone said that I was a New York lover! :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats:
