ASU just pulled off perhaps the biggest upset in the history of college football today winning 34-32 over Michigan.
What a shocker!

well worth the $400,000 they got for that trip to Michigan. 1-AA team ever to beat a top 10 nationally ranked team.

I don't want to hear anything else about that great Northern football.... You could actually hear it from me. Considering my college team beat 2 southern teams in bowl games 2 years in a row.(Coughs Penn State Coughs). As a matter of fact, we just saw a team get beat at Penn State by 59 points. It was another southern team.

Well, you can talk all you want, but I ain't listnen'.
Penn State beat Florida International....whoo hoo!! They were probably ranked 119 in the nation. The Lions SHOULD have won the game. And Michigan SHOULD have won the game today.
We're talking about the number 5 team in the nation losing to a AA team.
A Big Ten (who I will refer to from this point on as the Little 10) "powerhouse" losing to a team in a lower classification.
This was like the state champion highschool team losing to a middle school.
We can talk about bowl games if you want, but I don't think you'll like it. Do we need to rehash that national title game?

When it comes to Penn State, I still can put nuts on the south. We beat a better then people think team in the Orange Bowl, and more recently, a team who people thought we'd get our behinds served to us on a silver platter against.

Most national championships for a conference, and home of the team with the most national titles. Put nuts on that! I'll give it to you, Penn State and Joe Pa, top notch program. The rest of the North....Well, obviously not so much.

SEC though(Despite it's a very respectable conference with me) is home to our latest bowl victim(Ok I feel like I'm repeating myself, I better stop that. lol) Out of all programs in the North, Penn State really is the only program I have been able to show a great respect for at the college level. One more reason, I'm a fan. For the rest of the North, some programs I'm even surprised they can be so good. For today, we can call Michigan the joke of the Big Ten Conference.
