Rush's Sippio signs with Chiefs

Rush wide receiver Bobby Sippio, the leading scorer in the Arena Football League this season, has signed a two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs brought in five receivers in for tryouts last week at their camp at Wisconsin-River Falls, then sent them all home without signing any.
After their 16-12 exhibition loss to the Browns on Saturday, the Chiefs called Sippio's agent and signed the 6-foot-3-inch, 220-pound receiver.
This isn't Sippio's first opportunity in the NFL. He was cut from the Miami Dolphins early in the 2004 season.
"Do I feel like I have the talent to play in the NFL?" he told the Tribune in May. "I shouldn't even have to answer that."
Sippio, 27, caught 125 passes for 1,742 yards and 53 touchdowns in the Rush's 16 games for 2007.

I have had the privelege of watching Bobby play 4 times this past season and he is fun to watch. I hope he can make the jump to the NFL. If not, the AFL will always have space for him......

In my fantasy league today I just picked him up. With the Chiefs looking for a go to guy besides Gonzales he seems like the likely guy for that job. Nobody even knew who he was. That is why I got him with the last pick in the draft. Hopefully that will be the best pick of the year. LOL I had to support our arena guys.

In my fantasy league today I just picked him up. With the Chiefs looking for a go to guy besides Gonzales he seems like the likely guy for that job. Nobody even knew who he was. That is why I got him with the last pick in the draft. Hopefully that will be the best pick of the year. LOL I had to support our arena guys. Actually Zac, I believe that I had the best pick in the draft when I picked up rookie TE Celek from the Eagles. He's going to be explosive and LJ Smith won't last that long still recovering from his injury. Anyway, good luck this season. |

Hey Gene dont I have the authority to ban people??? I think if I get anymore comments like that from Ron we might have to ban him! lol Nope, only Joe & i have that authority. It would be a free for all if we gave multiple people that privlege........  |
