Rumor has it(until I do some searching), that the UIF are losing up to 6 teams next year. This is the latest rumor that I have heard. It will be treated as a rumor until I get all the info. But, you can say you heard it here first if this does happen.

Six is probably pushing it.
Ohio Valley not gonna return, I don't think.
Evansville said they're done.
Omaha in shaky trouble, their one employee resigned - Bob Scott also owns Sioux City.
Lexington, if OV/EVL both leave, probably isn't coming back.

That's five...I don't see a sixth, unless Bloomington goes AF2 (remote chance).

But, you can say you heard it here first if this does happen. Read it on UIF boards ages ago... there ARE other messageboards that cater to indoor football leagues on the internet. 'Cept of course for Evansville... that's semi-new news. Their owner declared on their website that they were finished. File that one away as fact. But I'll be on the edge of my seat anyways, waiting for you to confirm all the other "rumors..."

Evansville isn't even that much of a shock. Most everyone over there knew this was the make-or-break year, and the Bluecats had more injuries than most Browns teams do.

Glad I made it down there to catch the Hounds-BlueCats game this past year. Very nice city, and nice venue, despite it's field limitations.
