FT. MYERS, FL – The UIFL is pleased to announce its front office awards for the 2012 season.
The Erie Explosion, which was one of three teams in the North to earn an award, earned the highest honor as the Front Office Executives of the Year. For their treatment of visiting teams, the Marion Blue Racers earned the UIFL GameDay Award, while the Cincinnati Commandos earned the Public Relations Office of the Year.
While leading the league in attendance, the Florida Tarpons have shown the ability to market their product and thus earned the Marketing Award, and Florida rival, Lakeland, earned the Best GameDay Environment.
The UIFL enters its second week of Ultimate Bowl II Playoffs as Cincinnati hosts Erie in the North championship, while Lakeland visits Florida in the South championship.
