Green Bay Notre Dame Alum Signs with Blizzard
January 27, 2012 - Indoor Football League (IFL) Green Bay Blizzard
Green Bay, WI: The Green Bay Blizzard have signed local talent Jordan Lardinois to the 2012 roster. Lardinois played locally at Green Bay Notre Dame and won a state championship with the Tritons in 2003. The defensive end was an All-Conference performer at Bemidji State. The Blizzard also added linebacker Trevor Glomski (Concordia St. Paul) and defensive back Aaron Moore (San Diego State).
Jordan Lardinois (6'3" 265 lbs DE) signed with the Blizzard after attending the team's tryout last week. Lardinois was a force on the defensive line while attending Bemidji State. He was named 2nd Team All-NSIC Defense as a senior in 2010 with 6.5 tackles for a loss and 4 sacks. Lardinois was selected 1st Team All-NSIC as a junior with 12.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks. In addition to rushing the passer, Lardinois is an accomplished long snapper on special teams. In high school, he earned All-Conference and All-Area honors.
Trevor Glomski (6'2" 245 lbs LB) is a Minnesota native and competed against Lardinois in the NSIC. Glomski attended Concordia University St. Paul after transferring from Rochester Community College. As a senior at Concordia in 2010, he was named 1st Team All-NSIC Defense with 73 tackles, 9 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks. Glomski was awarded 2nd Team All-NSIC at linebacker as a junior. At Rochester, Glomski earned NJCAA All-America 2nd Team and was the Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He helped lead Rochester to the NJCAA Division III Championship.
Aaron Moore (6'0" 195 lbs DB) is an athletic defensive back and was a three year starter at San Diego State. He had some of his best games against Mountain West Conference foes, including an interception against current Blizzard quarterback Donovan Porterie (New Mexico). Last year, Moore played in the IFL with the Reading Express and helped the team win a division championship.
Blizzard Head Coach Robert Fuller said, "We're very happy to welcome these three defensive standouts to the Blizzard family. Jordan is a talented prospect on the defensive line and we're excited to have another local product competing for a roster spot. Jordan and Rob were a very disruptive tandom at Bemidji. Trevor was a dominate force at LB through his college career and we expect him to transition quickly to the indoor game. He has been training very hard for this opportunity and we expect a tight battle at the linebacker position in camp. Aaron is a very talented CB and he's a guy that we feel has the ability to be an all-league player. He's big, he's fast, and he's physical and we're excited to have him in Green Bay."
The Green Bay Blizzard are proud members of the Indoor Football League (IFL) and was named the 2011 IFL Franchise of the Year. 2012 Season tickets are on SALE NOW, call 920-405-1264 to reserve your seat in the action!
