“The situation in Utah has nothing to do with the overall league,” AIFA president John Morris said. “That’s between the Knights and their home arena. All I know is I’m very pleased with where we are right now.”
Gene, you go first.

lol, dont get me started on the west. I do disagree though. I feel the league is partly responsible since it appears they brought in ownership that didnt have the financial resources or an efficient enough organization to work out this issue. Enough Utah players have come out & said they werent getting paid. I also think the west is a bigger fail than this board Dan. 35,000+ posts in 4yrs is way more successful than the west & the league message board together.

You are probably right about the west ... but the decorum on this board has been at an all-time low lately ... almost drunken pub level.
We warned you about Mink and Morris back in the day, but no......................

Are there any reputable league owners in minor league sports? Mink, Morris....Haines.
It's all a money grab. Should be glad the AIFA has lasted this long.

I respect M&M for what they have accomplished so far but there really needs to be a more in-depth background check on potential team owners. Ogden & Wassilla have really left a bad impression on the league & lest not forget the NJ Revs not getting paid.....

Though still not a good reflection on the league, at least the Revs never lied to their own players.
