I go to all Erie games, home and away. In every arena I've been in, all teams(away) do something with mics during the game. In Harrisburg their announcer pounded on the mic for a whole half. With no warning or flag. In Baltimore the DJ played music after huddle, after lining up on ball, thru snap, and into the play. No warning or flag. In Erie, one time a gameday host pounded the mic. We got flagged and marked off a 10 yard penalty. These are facts.

And your one fact that I have to agree with is: You are right about the DJ in Baltimore playing music even when the QB is receiving the snap!!! He's done it while we are on offense too!
