I dont think NJ will be ready for the wolves we have in the east. (no disrespect) But reading, erie, fayetteville n baltimore will be too much to handle.

King, def respect your opinion and im thrilled to finally have others chiming in regarding a new rival, I just gotta ask what your opinion is based on? Obviously Reading and Baltimore were the cream of the East crop last yr and both got better this offseason but without seeing any Revs game film, practice or anything else how can ya be so sure that NJ prob wont be able to hang w Fayetteville, a team that was one w over .500 and have made basically zero moves to get better, and a team like Erie that had a dismal season at 3-11 last year? not knocking you at all man just tryna learn about the league so let me know. Thanks for finally giving the Revs some air time too ha

Ok let me explain how I came to my conclusion.
1. Reading: Is always a consistant 10 win team which never slacks off and have great talent. Always have a loaded roster and great coaching staff.
2. Baltimore: Just became good last year but they are improving from a good season last year with more talent.
3.Fayetteville: Always have a good team and is a tough place to play in. They have a history of never annoucing any signings. The south division was hands down the toughest division last year so to have 8-6 record that good just check the history of the south teams.
4. Erie:Dont be fooled by the 3-11 record because the 2008 team was 10-4 and that is the same team that is returning for 2010 which the guys from that team didnt play for in 2009. In 2009 Erie played with a team that 80-90% of the players were first year players who has no experience playing indoor football. Thats a big difference from the 2008 team that have about 80% of their vets returning for 2010. So Erie will be back to its dominence. You'll see once Erie starts announcing its roster and I want you to compare 2008,2009, n 2010 roster and you'll know what i'm talking about. Not only are they returning the old roster but returning the coach who led them. As you can see Rod Rutherford is back from the 2008 roster who was a nightmare for defenses in the league unlike in 2009 when erie played musical QB n coach.
5. Revs: I know more than you think I kno about the Revs. I know quite a few of your guys which I played with in 2009 on my semi-pro team in NY. I live in NYC not too far from where u guys practice ;-)... I've seen film from you guys games in the CIFL and I've attended a Rev game before. I have film on all these teams which I can let u see to back up my point. I know what you guys look like. You guys have talent but I dont think it will be enough to compete with some of these teams ( In my own opinion). New teams usually dont fair too well in their first year.
I'm not trash talking just stating my opinion thats it. I played against all these teams whether it was in the 2 different leagues I played in. So I have experience and knowledge about all these teams (except the west). It would be good to start a new rivalry with the Revs being thats my home town team and I play in Erie. I hope that explains the earlier statement I made which was just my opinion.
We can even make a little friendly wager on the Erie vs NJ Revs or even Reading vs. NJ Revs game.

Very well done on the synopsis. Like i said im new to the league and it def helped me gain a perspective of what the opposition will be bringing to the table. Now on my side, just remember that when you watch the CIFL tapes you have of the Revs, compare the players in those games to the roster now and its an entirely different team

But I still know quite a few guys on this years roster. But let the games begin.
