NEW ORLEANS (December 14, 2009) -- The Southern Indoor Football approved two rules changes at its league meeting Monday, including the addition of a 1-point "uno" for kickoffs that make it the uprights and another to deter intentionaly kicking the ball out of bounds to avoid run backs. Dan you of all people should know the curse of the UNO. EIFL - Used the term Uno and is now defunct. Though that league had more issues than using catch phrases. WIFL - Gone SIFL - ?? The Uno has significant power and can only be handled by the AIFA apparently. Also I'll be waiting by my mailbox for the royalty check...

You'll probably get your SIFL royalty check around the same time we (AIFAFANS) gets a pat on the back from the powers that be for all the marketing we do for the league On the other hand, kudos to OSC for their multiple plugs on TWiTAIFA. PFFFFFT!

Are u serious? UNO! I thought that was a Cipra/Rockhold term. Not a SIFL one. Whatever, go defunct!

Actually I think the SIFL is looking into having their own term. Just like the AIFA did when the changed it from Rouge to UNO.
And I think the SIFL will do just fine without Cipra/Rochold in the mix. Remember the Lions Kickers were amongst the leader's in the AIFA the past two seasons and the lone season of the WIFL.
