Jim Terry named new commissioner of the Eastern Indoor Football League

The Eastern Indoor Football League's first commissioner John Guy has been released by the EIFL and will be replaced by Jim Terry. The termination is based on concerns by league owners of Mr Guys constant misinformation to the press regarding EIFL teams, events and ownership. Mr Guy also informed the EIFL and owners he would not be in attendance for the league's showcase in October despite having travels paid for by the league. Several calls to John Guy about his firing were not returned. The Eastern Indoor Football League and teams would like to wish Mr Guy good luck on future endeavors.

I was thinking more on the lines of having his face on the ball so kickers have a reason to kick the ball as hard as possible.

Well, I have checked the Arena Football Weekly site and it says that the "showcase" is by invitation only. That means that JT can control who comes and what they say.

Therefore, there will be about six people there and we'll get a whole bunch of positive spin on this.
