I couldn't agree more with the editorial about the Express ("Reading Express brings a championship back to Berks," Reading Eagle, July 31.)
Maybe the execs at the paper should has noticed a little sooner they were in that game. There was nothing on the front page about it. I saw one little article on the bottom of the sports page. There was nothing about the parade until after it happened. Then there were a few pictures with small captions.
They deserved better, but this paper missed another opportunity for a good story. Oh we did see the president drinking beers.
