Ok well looks like i am 1st in line so line forms behind me. Straighttalk, you are both wrong & crazy! I just spoke with people from Wyomings front office and they are happy to stay in the AIFA & Reading, please, dont see it happening. Not that i'd be against it but just dont see it. They are barely turning a profit as it is. Going AF2, a bit more expensive and doesnt make sense. So to you sir i say: &

So is November 15th the deadline for teams to move leagues?
Why would Columbus and Augusta want to joing a western league like the IFL?
I would think the FORCE would want to stay with southern teams whichever league they go with.
Without FLorence and Columbus the southern AIFA doesn't look to appealing for the FORCE due to travel cost but going IFL looks like more expenses for travel. It should be interesting to see what happens.

Going from one league to another really doesn't make sense financially or otherwize ,try to make this league work with or without a western division

Who's in, who's out, who's done. Who knows? No one until it time to sign on the dotted line.
I would love to see Augusta and Mississippi come back to the Southern Division. That was a great rivalry.
As for the Western Division. No disrespect for Wyoming, but they are about to play for the Championship and that game will only be the 4th team they have played all year. Think about that. They have only played 3 teams all season - and one of those was 1-13!! Just does not make sense to me.
A league is only going to be as good as it's individual teams. Build a good foundation on your successful teams and go from there. The fan base is there. Home-town franchises with home-town heroes. But traveling thousands of miles for games is cost prohibitive long-term for individuals teams or the league. There is a successful formula out there somewhere and sooner or later someone smart enough is going to come along and make it work.
In the meantime, I don't care what league the Lions play in, I just enjoy seeing good football in my backyard. We are right in the middle of SEC college football territory and come January and February we have withdrawal pains. That's where the Lions come in. The folks in Columbus have embraced this team and they will be successful in any league they decide to go with.
