Erie and Canton is, easily, the most established rivalry in this league and we are trying to come up with new and interesting ways to keep it going. Like battle of the dance teams. I have had some discussions with Joe about having a trophy, similar to the Little Brown Jug that the fan clubs could exchange after each game depending on who won. Tell me what you think of a) the idea b) this concept drawing of the trophy.  |

The helmets would be mini's. The black panel would be updated after each game and, of course, there are four sides. Plenty of room for several years.

I like it. Gives the two teams something to promote. Plus, getting to 'award' the trophy at the end of the game makes it something unique.

I think it's a good idea, especially if you can get it done with the Freeze logo backwards, LOL.

There is no Great Lake in Canton. Just Meyer's Lake. Battle of the Lakes Then??? Lake Erie vs Meyer's Lake..... Erie wins automatically. I dunno if there's a name suitable for the rivalry. |
