I am happy to say that we are getting the Express Fanclub back up & running once again. After meeting with Bernie yesterday and getting the green light from the new ownership we decided that the time was right to re-launch the leagues best fanclub (sorry Joe). So, Expressfans, V2, is back in business. I am working on the website as we speak and am deciding between using the old site, which my webmaster has said that she still has saved on file, or using new software. I am testing and designing the new software as we speak and hope to have something up shortly.
Concerning where the fanclub table will be located we will have a table outside for the tailgate on 4/14 from around 3-6pm. I will have some EFC "Property of Expressfans" shirts, color gray, size XL for sale. Shirts will go for $7.00 per. I will also have fanclub membership forms on hand. While i am still deciding on the membership fees i have come up with 2 scenerios. 1st, i have tentatively set the price for $5.00 pp for the 2007 season. If you would like to purchase for both the 2007 & 2008 seasons in advance, you can do so for only $8.00. Starting in 2008 i expect to make the standard membership $10.00pp so now is the time to buy and save a few bucks. As far as benefits go, the Express have once again given us permission to offer a 10% discount off all Team merchandise. In order to receive the discount you must present your fanclub membership card. On the topic of membership cards i am in the process of getting some new ones designed and printed up. I am hoping that they will be ready to distribute by the 4/28 home game.
I am looking forward to seeing all you EXPRESSFANS at the Railyard again and building a strong, dedicated fanclub. We did it once before and we will do it again but this time even better. Be sure to stop by the fanclub table for more info.
