Thanks, I missed this one. Was traveling home from 2 weeks in Denver. Assuming the Cavs and Thunder don't blunder against NM or Ogden, I would guess that the Cavs win this series 4-2 (or maybe 5-1 if we can pull off the win in Utah late June). Beating us at home is going to be tough for anyone in this league this year. Here's a quick story, full article concerns our RB. www.trib.com/articles/2009/05/09/sports/local/5a380c7d9c14f80e872575b100018f31.txtCAVALRY 45, THUNDER 28: Dante Dudley caught three touchdown passes and added another score off a failed onside kick to start the second half to lift the Cavs back into first place of the American Indoor Football Association West Division. Dudley's three-yard touchdown catch from Matt Strand gave the Cavs the lead for good at 8-7 midway through the first quarter. Trailing 28-13 Utah Valley drove to the Wyoming 6-yard line at the end of the first half, but the Cavs defense forced two incomplete passes. Dudley then put the game away when he grabbed Utah Valley's onside kick and waltzed into the end zone to make it 36-13. The Cavs also intercepted former Arizona State and BYU quarterback Michael Affleck three times, including a first-quarter pick by former Natrona County standout Tony Dill. I was able to travel to the game and it is deffinitely a hard place to play besides the fact that the refs were biased and were seen with their family after the game and many of the family members were wearing cavalry shirts.... The fans are rough in Casper and they are so close to all the action props to wyoming and all the fans

The refs we have in Casper aren't that biased I hate them they just don't seem to be very good at all most of the time, congrats on your win at home against us kinda been out of the loop but what I have heard it was a good game as was the one last week.

Our refs biased? ? yeah right! They work extra hard to ensure the visiting team can't say "We were home-towned in Casper." The Cavs are probably the only team to ever play indoor football that gets severely home-towned by our own refs.

I am just saying their family shouldnt be seen with them wearing cavalry gear! I didnt mean they called the game in your favor, it was pretty even. What kills visiting teams is the fans you guys are viscious and if anyone on here was sitting behind the thunders bench let me know, you guys are insane! Props to getting behind your boys

I see your point, however, I'm not sure families wearing team gear is really an issue... as long as the game is called fair for the visiting team. At this level of sports, we all know that the officiating crew is going to be from the city of the venue. It's just not financially feasible to bring in neutral crews. And you really can't expect the families to not support the teams.
Glad you could make the trip and support your team. June 5 is the rematch in Casper, and apparently the Casper Troopers (our drum and bugle corps) are supposed to play.

sad I couldn't go, I for sure won't miss the drive next time. I heard from our guys that Wyoming saved no time trying to get under the thunder's skin. #99 running through our teams line during introductions, fans throwing stuff on the players... I'm cool with it, because that's what builds rivalries! The Thunder are for sure to make adjustments and be ready for round 3 baby! Gotta love the new rivalry

I am positive that nothing was thrown on the Thunder players i just want to throw that out there! The Casper folks have more class than that! but i cant wait to go back out on the road out to Wyoming good place to play!
