The Augusta Spartans again traveled to Florence and won 47/48 over the Phatoms. This was a well attended game and proved that the Phatoms are indeed back in Florence. We appauled Phatoms management for the hiring of Oscar Danvenport from UNC as quarterback he was Gator Bowl MVP 1997 and took charge of a scrapy Florence team.
