Ravens Ask NFL Not To Play At Heinz Field At Night Updated: 3:01 pm EDT March 23, 2009
BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Ravens are sick and tired of losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in night games at Heinz Field.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens notified the league they do not want to play nationally-televised night games at Heinz Field.
For two seasons in a row, the Ravens have traveled to Heinz Field to play night games against the Steelers and left losers.
In his "Ravens Insider" blog, Sun columnist Mike Preston calls the Ravens' appeal to the league a "good idea."
He said the Steelers organization "knows how to work the crowd" up for these games, and it creates a "major advantage" for the Steelers.

What a bunch of crap. Maybe next the teams who play new England can appeal to the league that they dont want to play the Patsys in the snow. NE usually seems to win those games too.

Last time I checked the home team crowd is suppose to be an advantage. What's next, playing their road games at a neutral site so the home team doesn't have an advantage.

Let the Sqeelers come to Baltimore and open the season. Why does it always have to be the Ravens going to Pittsburgh for the prime time games?

Let the Sqeelers come to Baltimore and open the season. Why does it always have to be the Ravens going to Pittsburgh for the prime time games? You obviously missed the big picture above with the six super bowl trophies. To the victor goes the spoils. To the loser goes the crying towel
