Raptors sign broadcast deal with iBN

Foothill Ranch, Calif. - March 6, 2009 - IBN Sports (Interactive Broadcast Network Sports), a premiere Internet-based broadcast sports television network has reached an agreement with the Rock River Raptors Professional Indoor Football team for Internet rights to broadcast all of its home games over the iBN Sports Channel (http://www.ibnsports.com). The deal runs through the 2011 season.
The Raptors, who play their home games in the Metro Centre in Rockford, Illinois, are one of 8 teams in the Continental Indoor Football League.
iBN Sports will be creating an exclusive channel on their network for the Raptors, and look to sign other CIFL teams in the near future, as well, which will launch a CIFL channel in the network.
"iBN Sports is very excited about our growth and now our push in to professional football through this partnership with the Raptors. The Raptors continue to entertain their fans with fast moving , high energy play on the field and we are happy to share it with a broader base of fans around the world," commented iBN Sports' CEO John Mudge. "This multi-year partnership will allow us to help the Raptors, and the CIFL, continue their momentum by expanding their reach and marketing opportunities."
The first Raptors broadcast will be this Saturday night, March 7, at 7:30 PM Central Time. The game will be covered live, and then be archived for up to one year.
"We're very excited about the opportunity to broadcast our games live on the Internet and with iBN Sports," stated Raptors and Lowe Entertainment Owner Robert D. Lowe. "We feel that this is another step in the right direction for our team and we look forward to a great season online."
