QB
Mike Scipione Western Connecticut – Started his career at Kentucky backing up Tim Couch, transferred to Villanova did not play, injury? Transferred to Western Connecticut, in 2002 he passed for 2,300 yeards 26 TD 11 Ints, completed 53% of his passes. Spent time with the Sioux City Raptors in 2005.
Kenneth Irby Tennessee St – A bum, left Marshall U for Tennessee St played for the Black Birds at one time, can’t throw a pass to save his life.
Matt Redding Georgia – Moved from quarterback to defensive end while at Georgia. No indoor experience found.
My money is one Scipione to start, Irby is a bum and I don’t know much about Redding. The position looks weak overall, Scipione is the only one with successful indoor experience. Another option could be wide receiver Eugene Hellams who played quarterback at Grambling but switched to receiver at the NFL level.
FB / LB
John Maye – No college listed no additional info
Richard Dorceus Howard University – No indoor experience found
James Gibson UNC – UNC playing info can be found at tarheelblue.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/gibson_james00.html, no indoor experience found.
Fletcher Miller Marshall University – No additional info
Mike Woodhouse – No college listed, might have played minor league outdoor football in Prince William County Md
Joe Hooks Sheppard College – No additional info
Not a whole lot of talent here out side of James Gibson who could be the starting running back. Another option could be Ryan Tillman who ran the ball at East Carolina
FB / DL
Sean Kelly FAMU – Had 13 sacks as a defensive end at FAMU in 2001
Kelly was an impressive lineman at FAMU, I see him competing for one of the defensive end spots. At 6,3 240 he could also stand up and play linebacker in goal line situations.
OL / DL
Phillip Hofferderth JSU – No info about his JSU days, don’t even know what college JSU is, Jacksonville St? Found his name on a Galveston Thunderstorm roster of the IIFA, what ever that is.

Sean Chisley Montgomery College or UDC - DC Explosion / Norfolk Night Hawks
Looking a bit thin on the offense and defensive lines, a lot of bodies but how much talent? On offense I have Wesley Jones penciled in for a starting tackle spot, he played well with the Heroes and Horsemen. Tommy Burns is an intriguing prospect could see him at tackle or center. Deonte’ Holden has played tackle in the out door minor league circuit and could compete for a spot. A lot of the other O-Lineman have big bodies but I could not find more information on them.
The defensive line has many intriguing possibilities. Dave Howell spent his playing days at the U and must be talented. At 6,5 313 he could see time at nose tackle and be a wide load to handle. Bobby Payne is an indoor veteran and spent last season at defensive end for the Oklahoma City Yard Dogs, I see him doing the same in D.C. The last defensive line spot IS up for grabs between Sean Chisley, Damon Tolson, and Sean Kelly

Eugene Hellams Grambling St - Been all over the place: nflanswers.proboards91.com/index.....splay&thread=27
This is where the Armor will excel, look at all the talent. Ronald Minor, Kabote Sikyala, William Heath, and Ahmad Hawkins should all get playing time in the secondary. Each has had extensive indoor experience in AFL2 or the AFL. It will be hard to find playing time to keep all four of these amazing defensive backs happy.
The Armor is equally well equipped at wide receiver. Darnell McDonald, Randy Hymes, Steven Savoy, Gary Briggs, and Eugene Hellams make one hell of a wide out rotation. The only sad part is there are not enough roster spots or footballs to go around.
WR / LB
Marcus Hill Kent St – Kent State stats: sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=147139
Jamal Lewis Arizona State – College career info: thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/lewis_jamaal00.html
This group is filled with very similar players, both were marginal contributors on division one football teams. With all the talent at wide receiver I see these guys making an impact in the Armor’s linebacker core. Both are tall, Lewis at 6,6 and Hill at 6,3 while each has the bulk (200 plus pounds) to play linebacker. Expect to see Hill and Lewis behind the defensive line on opening night.
