In case things look a bit different i made changes to teams and divisions to reflect the AIFA's new alignment for 09. There is NO South division this season. It should return next year.

I will go a little bit more technical:
Two Confrences: East / West
Two Divisions in Each Conferance : North and South
There is tech., no South Division in the Westeren Conf.
Playoffs this year will be top 2 in each division...eastern conf will play a divisional and conf game with the winner playing the western winner in the west.....the west will play a conf. game and then host the aifa bowl.....this of course will change next year as the Western Conf. South Div. is formed

I guess WY should be happy!
We have 4 teams battling for one spot in the west while 10 teams battle it out for one spot in the EAST and NORTH.
Wy is the clear favorite now to host the BOWL game this year. They don't have much standing in their way! Especially with the Adrenaline gone now after 1 season. NM will more than likely be the only other contender in the WEST while the 2 UT franchises decide who's worse. I know there probably wasn't much option but you might as well start advertising the game in CASPER before the season even starts. I would have rather of seen the play-off scenario rewritten given the circumstances. Top 2 teams in each divison should have played a divisional round followed by the next 2 teams with the worst records facing each other while the team with the best record hosts the BOWL game.
.......that way atleast it wouldn't look so obvious as to what is gonna happen here with giving the WEST Bowl hosting privileges

according to the co-owner of the cavs the south division still exist and it's the East division that is dead for the year. According to her the South division would be a part of the eastern conference now rather than the western conference for this year
