The fanclub had a meeting at the Rats office yesterday. Here are some of the ideas that we are kicking around.
1. Fanclub page on RiverRat website
2. Fanclub packages(early bird pricing before season $15 and $20 after). Package will include shirt and rat dollars for merch. And we are tossing around the idea of brunch with the players(7times).
3. We are looking at doing awards for players after every game(def,off,spec teams).
4. We are looking for a sponsor of the fanclub to assist with the start up costs. Since day one we(Scott, Mitch, and myself) have ate the losses. Somewhere @ $4,000. Supplies,gaming license,etc.
5. Start up a kids fanclub....tentatively name "The RugRats"
6. We will have a promo squad helping us sell 50-50s throughout the stands. Which should increase the fanclubs income.
7. The 50-50 money that has been raised at games went to the players snacks,equipt, etc on away games. With a couple of charities last year. This year, with the promo squad helping, and expected increase in income. We are looking to do a charity give-a-way at each home game. IE: winner of 50-50 would get 1/2 money. Charity would get 1/2 of the remainder. And the fanclub would get the rest.

If there is anything that I forgot. Scooter or Mitch can add to it. But, these are ideas at the moment. When everything is set in stone, there will be a posting.
