Lions Gas Promotion Set to Begin October 17, 2008 (COLUMBUS, GA)- The Columbus Lions are looking for ways to put a little money back in your pocket and have come up with a Gas Redemption Program that can earn you up to $500 in free gas. The program is set up so that current season ticket holders can refer a friend, who is not a former season ticket holder and may be interested in Lions season tickets. If that person decides to purchase 4 season tickets, both people will receive a gas redemption certificate good for up to $500. “Four season tickets can cost as little as $224, so to me this is a great opportunity for people that may be on the fence to go ahead and justify the expense,” said General Manager Jeff Gonos, “our entire office signed up!”
Ways to qualify for the program:
1. Refer a new season ticket holder who buys 4 or more season tickets
or 2. Purchase 4 or more season tickets and refer a friend who purchases 4 or more season tickets
The promotion will only last until the end of November so fans are encouraged to act quickly. For more information on the program, call the Lions office at 706-322-3336 or email jeff@columbuslions.netThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Another great promotion from your friendly neighborhood Lions! Now tell me exactly whom they will be playing in the southern division? Besides the colts not returning is anyone set to come back from this division? there has been grumblings about the stingrays being gone as well as the Mudcats but are these true? I have seen no official report only people posting that their respected teams are gone!
............I can't depend on Bill "via digital audio" Hazen to report these Items. He reports what he is allowed i'm assuming and none of it is gonna put this league in a negative light. Which in my opinion is horrible PR from the league. They need a press release stating the teams that have fallen to the waist side and soon if it is at all the truth.

We need a "state of the league" address! We need every team covered from their current promotions, to their plans for the future, to even the leagues plan for each team to help further their growth in every community that each team represents. It would show unity amongst teams across the nation and continue to grow an upstart indoor league in it's 3rd year of existence. It also would help release a lot of hot air that needs to be out.
.........Thanks for letting me post this and sorry for the rant!!!!!

No official word on your division yet. Look at the bright side. If your the only one in the division, then you will automatically be division champs.

yeah well I guess I just want close rivals more than anything!
Macon Albany Birmingham Montgomery Tallahassee
any of these cities would really make me a happy fan! Heck i'd even take a team on the southside of Atlanta now that the Force are at the Gwinnett Center. Didn't the NIFL have team somewhere around the area at one time? Anyways just wishful thinking. Hope there is some positive news soon
