I think I'm going to try out for the Lions. Joey Conrad will have to get through me if he wants his job back! :smileylions:

Hey Gonzo have you been to the movies in Rome lately. We just got through installing Rome's first digital projector with 3D. Also, I ate at the "Backyard BBQ" in town and saw some Rome Renegades stuff on display! Thought it was cool to see the town still remembers

Thought it was cool to see the town still remembers I haven't been to the movies here in a while, but I'll have to go now to check out your handy work. And I agree about Backyard BBQ, it is off the hook , they were a big sponsor of the Renegades, and donated our pregame meals. It is cool that the 'Gades have merch there. It's actually scattered all over the place in Rome and it's cool to see it in all those places. The town does still remember the Renegades.....And that our arena was too $#!%%^ to keep them around.

I think I'm going to try out for the Lions. Joey Conrad will have to get through me if he wants his job back! I'm not even sure if Conrad is going to be playing in Columbus next year. I've heard that someone else has already been tabbed as the starting QB for next year.

yeah, I asked at the end of the year last year and Conrad didn't seem to pleased with the thought of coming back to C-town for another year. I would expect mullins to make a return though if he doesn't move on to "greener Pastures".
........I'm a Conrad supporter so I hate to not see him in town but I hope he plays somewhere. No need to start wasting his talents now! This guy is good

I'm pretty sure that Jason Gibson hasn't already picked his starter in September. He may have a good idea about who it will be, but there's still a long time before camp starts. Brent, what will you do without Conrad? Will this be the end of the "Conrad Corner"?

I guess so! i'll do the same thing when the Falcons lost Vick. Move on and keep watching football in hopes of a brighter future. I would have liked to see Conrad do something in Columbus but he did have three years with teams here in the play-offs and we never could win a post-season game. There's always different circumstances that have driven the losses so I can't put it all on him. Great Qb none the less
