They say sometimes one voice shall lead them. This is the case but behind this one voice is the voice of many through out the entire CSRA. i speak for everyone of us from the fan to the sponsor to the staff member all the way up to the city of Augusta. We have sit here this past season and watched something under the command and leadership of Jimmy Young collapse into a pile of rubble under the Sisson administration. Mr. Sisson either through his own stupidity or lack of leadership has managed to totally destroy the hard work and loyal service of the numerous unpaided staff, fans, from the Spartans in just under a year. Augusta has gone from being a city with a franchise of promise to a shameful disgrace. Attendance at games was disgusting and a shining example of just how far things have fallen. The games are as one fan who had bought tickets every year stated no longer fun. Hundreds of fans were promised everything and given nothing. Sponsors will not even give this franchise the time of day under this crew. You all have sit back and watched as Sisson has managed to slap Coach Bubba Diggs in the face. Diggs is Augusta and so is Just Momma they both have the vision and knowledge to make Augusta whole again. I implore upon you to stop this now. Send a message and listen to the screams of the people and fans. I have a signed petition with the signatures of 2000 fans asking for the resignation of the GM. Staff and for an investigation into conduct unbecoming the team the community, and the AIFA. We have the man power, the money and the leadership to run this team. We can and we will use force if necessary to defend our position here in Augusta. Our motives are simple to insure the success of arena ball here for years to come. There is no hidden agenda just folks banded together for the good of the cause. You can run from this but its still here. There is more its time to give us what we want. To the rest of the AIFA were sorry to use this forum to air dirty laundry but get your head out the sand. This doesn't need to get even more ugly. It can its up to you. The Committee for The Success of Arena Football in Augusta Congratulations Florence -

Spell-check can be your friend. Hard to take you seriously while laughing so hard at all the grammatical errors.

That initial post HAS to be from the venerable Mr. Tony Edwards. No?

I agree... Augusta isn't the first franchise ruined by inept ownership and I'm sure they won't be the last. Point being, I think you hurt your argument when you can't even proofread your letter to the league. I know I would have a hearty giggle and pass it along to my other GM friends so they could have a good laugh too if that arrived on my desk.
Oh, and claiming to represent the City of Augusta? I hope your City Council doesn't mind you dragging them into this.
Exactly what is the definition of "conduct unbecoming an AIFA franchise"?
Give direct examples of what you were promised and how that promise went unfulfilled. Also, don't throw out messageboard nicknames; it's reads as stupid and immature.
And it's not "arena" football... there hasn't been an "arena" team in Augusta since 2002.

Might I suggest you send this letter (After correcting the errors. Take your time with it, when you initially wrote it you were probably filled with emotion) And any other info you have, like the petition and anything else you deem pertinent. Send copes of it to the AIFA Office via the contact link on the league website.
I have personally used this as recently as this week and I've got a response back on the same day as I sent it. Unless you send late in the day.
Mr. Mink & Mr. Morris do read this message board, But I would send something of this importance directly to them.
Good Luck! I hope you get your concerns/issues resolved.

Yea , I know not necessary to take pot shots at me. I'm a sales manager for a major wholesale distributor of energy pills and products well was up until 10am this morning company went under we are all jobless. Folks, I'm not perfect but my motives are simple to continue the tradition of quality sports teams here in the CSRA. Sometimes I let my feelings get the best of my typing and my thoughts this is something I'M passionate about. I hate to see Augusta lose something they are perfectly capable of seeing make it. I've given over twenty years of my life to high school football, arena football in various areas and am currently doing play by play on local radio. I know how to win in sports and business have the sales figures to prove it. This is a cause I feel strongly about sorry for the misspellings was in a hurry.

Look if the powers that be are listening maybe we can make an impact. On a lighter note if you know of anybody who can use a sales manager that did 2.9 million on the road in 2006-2007 and has a customer satisfaction rating of 98.9 percent. I can be bought and can travel.
Just wish Augusta would wise up boundless treasure and potential in this area.

Glad to report inked a deal today to start a new job Monday for Diawa fishing as factory rep. This isn't what I want to do but will do for time being. I need my head examined but I really want to get into team management someday. Feel I could do well at it and could produce a winner with my years in sports already.

The Augusta city council is about as big of a joke as the James Brown Arena board.
