As the 08 season is winding down its never too late to start thinking about 09. I am taking this time to ask anyone who is interested in helping out with Booster Club functions/activities to reply back so we can meet and discuss things further. I would like to set up an open meeting, (Please RSVP) for Saturday July 26th at 12 pm at a location TBD later (in the Reading area).
08 has been the best season that the booster club has had but there is so much more that i'd like to accomplish. We provided snacks for the players on road games 6 of 8 weeks. We also took 5 members of the Steam Team out to Erie on June 7th to perform which was a 1st in the league and we finally organized a successful bus trip (standing room only). Having a club staff who can come up with ideas, plan, organize & run events etc etc would be a huge step in achieving more goals. As most of you know i have been doing all of the work myself but with your help we can do more. I can also tell you that the players appreciate the snacks and the Booster Club very much. Lets get together and come up with more ideas/events to make 09 our best year yet!
