The Reading Express would like to take this time to announce that Defensive Back Marcus Sargeant has flown to Los Angles, California this week for an AFL tryout with the LA Avengers.
Marcus has been a two player with the Express. His college career was played at Lackawanna. He has also been with the WB/Scranton Pioneers in AF2. Marcus resides in Philadelphia.
“Marcus has very good press man qualities and does not avoid contact; I am proud of him and wish him the best while he is in LA, representing The Reading Express and The AIFA.”

As Gene mentioned, he's only been in 1-2 of the last 8 games (or something like that)

They were using him too much to press at the line and it ended up him giving up alot of wide open tds. Good luck

I received a call from Marcus lastnight and he indeed has been invited to come back to camp for the next season as a LA Avenger. Obviously this does not mean a sure thing as we all know about this sport. But as of right now he is an Express but next season he will hopefully be playing in LA. I just hope they have a game next year in Philly.
