Blackburn and Potmesil are being honored as UIF All-Stars for the fourth time in as many seasons. Seventeen players have been named to their second UIF All-Star team while the remaining 32 players are first-time All-Stars.
The Eastern Conference-leading Bloomington Extreme lead the way with 10 selections. Three teams have seven All-Stars: the Omaha Beef, the host Sioux City Bandits and the Western Conference-leading Sioux Falls Storm. Rounding out the rest of the league, the Billings Outlaws have six, the Colorado Ice five and both the RiverCity Rage and the Wichita Wild each have four players honored.
Aaron said the game will be enjoyable and urges the UIF's fans to come to the game, which will be played the weekend following United Bowl IV.
"This year's All Star Game will be more exciting than ever," Aaron said. "Fans should order their tickets early because it will undoubtedly be a sell-out in Sioux City, Iowa this year."
