Lions hope to keep success going tonight at Stingrays BY CHRISTA TURNER - turnerc@ledger-enquirer.com -- The Columbus Lions will stay on the road tonight when they travel to play the Florida Stingrays in Fort Meyers, Fla., at 7:30. Columbus (7-3) is coming off a big road win last week. The Lions upset unbeaten Mississippi 53-48 and will look to keep that going against winless Florida. The Stingrays (0-9) have suffered through a rough season and have been outscored 553-195, including 121-48 in the last two weeks. The Lions knocked off Florida 63-25 in their first meeting. Lions quarterbackJoey Conrad was injured against Mississippi, meaning backup Maurice Mullins , who successfully stepped in for Conrad against the Mudcats, could see playing time again.
