The Express will take on the Mariners on Monday June 23rd. I was wondering if any EXPRESSFANS were going down to this game? The talk of a bus has come up but no one has really committed to it either. If interested let us know here.....

I am interested in going. I know that one of the guys at work would also like to go.
I'm not sure if Zac wants to go considering that it is a Monday night game.

Being that its a Monday night i have work and other things going on. The front office did inquire if we were getting a bus together so i just figured i'd do some research here. I personally dont know anyone else that is going because of it being on a Monday.
Ron, i take it you guys are driving? Would you be interested in going via a bus if it were put together? I'd imagine the cost, and this is just a guess, would be somewhere around $25pp.

If there is a bus I would consider it because of the price of gas. It also depends on when the bus would depart considering that I don't get done until around 4 which even makes making the kickoff on time. I could always leave work a little early also.

I just got off the phone with Lifestyle and they quoted me a price of $925 + gratuity. I figured it would come out to $25pp + game ticket which we could get at discounted rates. If interested let me know how many would like to attend. I will contact the front office to see if they can get any BFW employees to go.

Sounds good. I would definately be interested in that. So far i have an order in for 4 tix. If i can make it i will but i cant guarantee anything. But i know i would buy 2-4 tix myself. I also emailed the front office and they forwarded it to the rest of BFW so hopefully we'll get more interest from there too.
The quote was for a 47 passenger bus. I have also asked Bob McCool if he could announce it during the game too.

Holy Moly, the cheapest ticket baltimore has is $15 and thats with a "Group" discount. Thats enough to scare me away from going, lol. Thats double any other team in the league....
Group Game Day Tickets: Group tickets are available for all Baltimore Mariners home games in groups of twenty tickets or more in the following sections 201-204, 215-218, 223-226. Each group ticket will cost $15.00 (plus fees) for a savings of $5.00 per ticket. For more information on group tickets contact Sam Oidick at 1st Mariner Arena @ 410-347-2006

Im definately considering it. The only thing is if I go I would be alittle more interested in getting seats down by the boards. If any Baltimore fans could help out with the best section to look for on this type of ticket let me know.

If any Baltimore fans could help out with the best section to look for on this type of ticket let me know. Based on the 700 or so fans they average per game you could probably buy the cheap tickets and move down. Enough people do that at the Express games... ;D

If you remeber the Erie game two seasons ago, we were able to move down and create more noise then the Erie crowd. That was great.

Believe it or not we are up to 20 people for the bus trip. I have yet to hear back from anyone from BFW and if an announcement is made at the game we should get more interest....

There may be several others. I am waiting for a guy I work with to talk to his Uncle. They are also season ticket holders and were planning on driving.

Gas and parking alone would equal the bus fee and if that other thing works out that i pm'ed you about we'd really be getting a good deal.
