NFL teams unveil minicamp schedules National Football League
Jake Long ... Chris Long ... Matt Ryan ... and all other rookies –- welcome to the NFL. It's time to show what you've got.
That will be the order for both rookies -- and veterans -- over the next two weekends as NFL clubs, with the 2008 NFL Draft in the books, open minicamps to get a view of their new talent and move the veterans out of the weight room and onto the field.
"I can't wait to get to Atlanta," said QB Ryan, the first-round draft choice of the Atlanta Falcons, who start their three-day minicamp on May 10. "It's going to be a lot of fun working with those guys. I’m going to do everything I can between now and minicamp to learn the playbook and have the offense down pat. I just can't wait to get down there."
Thirty of the NFL’s 32 teams conduct minicamps over the next two weekends (Denver and Jacksonville will do so in June).Schedules: www.nfl.com/news/story;jsessionid=5659E6629A5FF337A37C577743A72A0E?id=09000d5d8080fbb4&template=with-video&confirm=true
