Am I mistaken or were the Utah Saints taken off of the league website. I noticed they are not listed in the records section. Can anyone confirm what is happening?

the league might be a little better if more than one team from the west actually had a shot at winning

It is not always the leagues fault that a team gets beat badly and can't bring in the fans. The team ownership needs to understand what it takes to have a successful franchise/team.
I wouldn't want to go to a game where my team could not put quality players on the field.
The league seems to be solid. The teams out east, where I am are doing relatively well.

So do the Saints even finish this year? I'd love to see what the attendances are for their home games. Might be lower than the last Baltimore game.... and that's saying something.

I am not trying to start anything I just noticed they were not listed on the standings section of the league website. I hope they can turn this thing around. The league seems to be going through some turmoil right now.(Huntingtion and Canton)
You only have one chance to make a first impression. Don't screw it up.

They are so still listed on the standings just stop reading the win column! ...........They did just recently update their website but they have no write-ups on the games! Bad move by them even if the games haven't been good. They'll never build a fan base like that and I still think they could be a good team with the right marketing and Players. A GM would be good for starters and the owner needs to let someone else be the HC and lastly they need assistants to call the plays not asst's/Players!

They don't have much to work with now the old coach left them high and dry right before the season started so they are way behind the power curve so to speak hope they make it this year and maybe get a better start next year not really sure that will happen.

The problem isn't their coach leaving them high and dry. The problem is the owner and his inability to do anything right at this level. There is plenty of talent in Utah. It is a management problem big time!
Here are some posts from the Official board,
"Yes the Saints are some of the semi pro players, but definitely not the best ones. The majority of the ex-collegiate players and players with skill would not play for the Saints simply from their lack of organization, coaching, and marketing, etc. They never even held an open tryout, they just picked some of the decent players from indoor league they have at the Olympic Oval.
Trust me when i say that there are plenty of players who would love to play and compete in this league with teams like the Cavs, but only under a well run, honest, legitimate, ownership. There have been some rumblings of possibilities in the future, but unfortunately you guys are having to play some sub-par players this year. It is embarrassing for us players who are in Utah.
Good luck with the rest of the season Cavs and represent the West by taking it all."
*********************
"Not even close to the leagues best players. The Utah Indoor Football leagues' best players are playing Semi-pro today. The best players refuse to play for this team. No pay, poor accomodations. This team is being driven into the ground.
If the Saints wanted to do what is best for this team, they would sell it immediately instead of allowing this team to fold. There are plenty of investors willing to take over this team. Utah has a lot of talent at its disposal, it will just take a quality organization to bring them into the league."
******************************
"I keep hearing speculation that there will be more AIFA teams in Utah next year. Does anyone have any solid information on this?
I doubt the Saints will even finish this season. It is a shame, because with a little marketing and effort, a team will do well in Utah.
I hope the Saints are sold instead of being driven into the ground. There are plenty of players willing to play and Utah loves to support its teams. There is plenty of talent in the area to compete with the best of the teams in the AIFA.
I hope the AIFA will find a way to keep a team in Utah next season."
Sounds like alot of broken promises from Utah to include what was said at the Cav's press conference. Curran is a bust!

Yeah I guess he is a good talker but that is about it. Sounded good at the press conference about how they were going to do this and that oh well another lying owner with false promise and Ideas of grandeur.

It's sad to remember the Utah Warriors. They were a decent indoor football team in the past. Now I'm sure there are football fans in Utah who thought they were going to get something like the Warriors but instead got this.
