What is WY doing different then UT and AZ as far as hanging on to the ball? Utah had 10 unforced turn overs just with center to QB exchange alone in the Wy game, AZ had 5 or 6 unforced turn overs as well. Does Wy QB wear gloves? Also is #5 (running back for WY) OK?

No gloves for the Wyoming QB. Not sure what he is doing but has been pretty spot on with passes and hanging on to it thats for sure. As far as Spiderman. He still returned a kick somewhat but downed it at the 5 intentionally. He was very sore after the game and did leave early. Thats all I know for now. If I hear anything else I will update ya

In the Utah-Wyoming game, and I was there, the Wyoming QB had Cutters gloves on the whole night! The Utah QB did not, but should have. The AIFA 2008 ball is garbage. In the Utah-New Mexico game they used the AIFA 2007 Baden ball, which is a great ball and they didn't have to use gloves!!

the ball can be slick, and i suppose it would be worse if it had sweat or something on it.

The 2008 game ball sucks. I have a 2006 AIFL ball, and a WIFL ball from last season, and the 2008'er can't hold a candle to either.

As a former football manager and ball boy no folks sorry I cant fit into my old uniform. I know all about game balls sweat, dirt, and dust cause game balls to become slick.Plus grip issues and air leaking out is a problem to. We played outside and had to keep them in cat litter in the rain and dry them off every other play. Once worked for a head coach who bought over 80 gameballs to a play off game. I have over twenty balls in my collection along with the last touchdown ever scored by the Augusta Stallions. While Im at any of you got a extra NIFL ball from last year tried to catch one at the Stingers game. Want one be glad to pay somebody.

While there's something to be said for having dust, or sweat on the ball causing it to be slippery......There's no excuse for how bad these balls suck before any of those factors even come into play.
