I listened to the Lion's webcast of the game versus Erie. The announcers did a nice job. The play-by-play guy (Chris Blackshear) mangled a few names of Erie players but did a good job of describing the action. Both guys, while naturally pulling for Columbus, gave Erie thier props when deserved. Well done.

Chris Blackshear? Maybe he's related to RiverRats DB Chris Blackshear. At least he probably didn't butcher that name haha.

I saw the word "webcast", which appears to be taboo to the AIFA upper echelon, and had to check this thread out. Thats good that Columbus has a webcast. If only more teams could follow suit. Maybe sometime in the next 5 years they'll figure out that it's not too hard or expensive to have leaguewide webcasts so the fans can stay informed on the going ons.....

I agree. We (The Mudcats) had one for most of last season. I produced it and did the pbp. I have heard nothing about this season yet.
