With news of the AAFL folding we can hopefully see the return of Justin Rivers to add to the Lions great defense. Can't wait to see how the rumor pans out.

yep i've been trying to get info on whether or not this might be a possibility but the teams PR is fair to poor IMO. Their very selective about which news is released and which news is not. I don't get it But I do hope these guys make a return! This would make us definate contenders. Carey could possibly be used for a more elussive running game than Campbell would offer but Kevin also adds the highly needed 4th blocker in a high flying passing league
just gotta keep Joey healthy and the scoring will take care of itself

My source was rather excited that Rivers was coming back. I don't know about Carey. Nothing is a sure thing in this sport not until game time and then it can change by the next game. Just like Merritt and Daniels I am sorry it didn't work out for Rivers, but I am glad they returned to the Lions. Should be an exciting year.
The Lions lost an avid fan and a great guy last night in the shooting.

The shooting was at the Shanty Shake. T&T Tire owner, Martin, was shot in the chest.

I know that Conrad, Davis, and Gibson thought him more of a friend than a fan. They are taking this hard.
