lmao --- nice one --- it appears that most adults were shielding their children from the "mudmonster" and didn't take time to have a kodak moment. oh well --- back to the drawing board.

It looks like they are coming up with a great sales package too, including special offers for fan club members. The MudCats name is starting to buzz again in this town - Looks like Mr. Waide is putting a good staff together. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I am looking forward to seeing the new packages. I have talked to the business manager about them. She is VERY excited!

Yea, I've heard she is all over the sales and marketing plans. I've also heard that she has worked closely with all the people who were left with unpaid bills - it appears that those relationships have been salvaged and that the vendors are on board for next year -- It also appears that the bills are being paid.
I know some of the businesses they have been meeting with for sponsorship - it sounds like they are developing quite a following with some strong financial backing --- I can't wait to see what is about to surface with this new ownership --- Luxury boxes or Corporate Boxes or whatever those things are called seem to be a great idea according to the people I've talked to.
Sounds like we have a strong future with this staff and ownership.
I just hope we are able to keep all the coaches - we had a great coaching staff and Coach Broussard did a super job recruitting players - he put a strong team together and I hear he has a killer roster in the making --- Next weekend tryouts should be exciting.

The coaching staff will be the same, barring any recruiting to AFL. Coach Brents is already working on next season.

Not so fast my friend. Heard they are having contract issues with the coaches. Sounds like they could lose all of the coaching staff. That would be a shame considereing how well the staff did last year. If they lose the staff I wonder how many players will return to the team or go where the staff goes as they normally do?

i heard that the mudcats old owner tried to buy the danville demolition and move them to indianapolis but i guess it didnt work because i saw that danvilles spot on the messageboard was taken off so i guess they are not in the league anymore either. i think danville leaving helps the north out but motgomery folding leaves a hole in the south and now the mudcats are even farther away from the closest team.

The AIFA is still the best geographic option for the Mudcats, unless the IFL really expands into Louisiana.
