To the MudCats players and coaches

Thanks for putting on a greeat show this season! It was truly a fun time watching you perform. There are some amazing players on this team that will move on to bigger things. Joe Clark has signed with the Georgia Force of the AFL. Tommy Jones, Derrek White, Josh Smith, and others will move on to bigger things. I really hope the ownership's NFL connections work out for everyone. Darrel Carter, Rico McDonald, and William Stewart Will (I hope) be back next season since they all live and work in the area as teachers and coaches.

Thanks to all of the players for making this a great season. Good luck in your future. You have made us proud.

To the coaches: I hope you come back next season. BUT I nderstand there are reasons not to. Brian Brents should be an offensive coordnator or head coach in the AFL next season. You are that good Brian! Gary Patterson should be a head coach next season in this league or a Defensive coordinator in the AFL. I have a lot of respect for Brian and Gary. Good Luck to you!

To the ownership: I know you read this. I wish you nothing but the best. the first year of a franchise is always the hardest. There are some good ideas on the table for this team. Find someone that can really sell and let them loose. Be honest with the community about the difficulties of the season. They will be more understanding and more supportive if you are truthful. Answer you phone and return calls and e-mails! Keep in mind the problems of the previous teams.

To the fans: We had a good time, didn't we! If you own a business, advertise with the team. Find ways to work with the team in the off season as well. This is a community program and they need support in the off season too. Buy season tickets early if you can. We need a fan club organized.

Well said rkb. I have had a great time this year as a Mudcat fan. I cant wait for next year as I look for even better things for this Mudcat organization. Its a shame to lose guys like Josh Smith, Tommy Jones, Derrek White, and Joe Clark. But they have to move on to bigger things as they deserve to. Our coaches and ownership has been awesome this year. Their have been no problems this year that I know of. I cant wait to see Darrell Carter and these guys play next year. THE MUDCATS WILL BE BACK!!!

Anyone wanting to be part of an organized fan club: I called the office today and was told to reply on line. They are organizing a club now and selling great "members only" packages for the fans---- with special seating for "the club".... sounds like fun. I'm in!
