I found this on the Mudcats website.
From an email submitted through the site:
My son and I were in Erie for a soccer tournament and decided to take in your game against Erie. We ended up sitting next to the Mudcats bench and all of the players were nice and showed a great attitude.Since we were from out of state we decided to pull for the Mudcats. John Marlin enjoyed a couple of fries with us and gave my son a story when he goes back to school on Tuesday in Ohio. Tommy Jones and Josh Smith also stood out. All in all your team made it a great experience for him and I. All of the players showed class. We'll be rooting for you in the playoffs and good luck to a great bunch of guys.
Thanks, Ray Maye

Since we were from out of state we decided to pull for the Mudcats. What kind of heartless people with no preconceived allegiances would root against a 1-12 team? ;D

Yeah, usually if I dont have a favorite team in a game I just root for the underdog. Needless to say the Freeze were the underdog. But hey, the more Mudcat fans the better, and the farther off the cooler. :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats:
