hate to break it to you but the game is scheduled for here on june 10 and promotions have already started. One, it is being advertised on the Titans website and, from what I've been told through the organization, the Titans will host a 1st Round Playoff Game on June 8th. Second, if there IS no ruling regarding the 1st Round Playoff Game that will be between the Mudcats and Titans, then there can be NO guarantee that Mississippi will host the game. A loss this week for the Mudcats, and it won't matter on whether or not there was a ruling made or not. Either way, do you have a source that KNOWS that the Playoff game will be in Tupelo? I am just interested to know if you are going off of what you've heard and figured for yourself or if your information comes from the Mudcat organization. My source comes from the Titans organization itself, so if yours comes from within the Mudcats organization, then obviously one organization is going to be VERY disappointed in a week or so. |

there was a problem with securing the arena months ago but at the last home game wich was around 3 weeks ago the owner went out on the field and said the 1st round playoff game would be here on june 10th. also there was an article in the local paper yesterday that stated that it looks like tallahasse has jumped the gun by announcing a home playoff game because if the cats win this weekend we will be #2 seed and will hast it here on june 10th. there are already ticket promotions going on.

I plan on getting tickets pretty soon after they "win" tonight. Probobly some time this week. But before I spend money, I am going to make sure there is a game first.

Lakeland beat Carloina last night to secure the #1 seed. According to the news article I posted on the Lakeland Board, Carolina has secured the 4th. That means it WILL defintely be the MudCats and the Titans in the playoffs. Wherre it will be depends on the game against Erie. Win we're at home. Lose it's a 9 hour drive to Tallahassee.
